DAY 134 - Fer Fun

Tonight we went to a little show called "The Passion of Sister Dottie Dixon."  I was a little apprehensive about going.  I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.  It's humor was very relevant and it was also extremely touching.  Over all it was hilarious!  Dottie is a little mormon housewife from Spanish Fork Utah, she speaks with a heavy Utah drawl, she gives a "Spanish" lesson during the show, not español, but Spanish Forkeese.  She explains that when someone "cuts in line over ta the Costco's, you say "fignorant or frude!"

Dottie is a progressive type mormon housewife that get's in a little bit of trouble with her bishop when she gets arrested for chaining herself to a Desert Book store in a Provo strip mall to protest how the church is treating her gay son.... It's not her fault, she was just doing what the giant Box Elder bug dressed in a Donna Karen pants suit from the KMarts, told her to do in a dream.  It was a funny show that takes on some serious issues.  Not everyone will agree with Dottie, but the overall message was to love yourself and love one another.  It was a great show, and I wish everyone would be open minded enough to see it.
